Special Issue: Public and Private Labor Standards Policy in the Global Economy This Global Policy Special Issue on public and private protections of labor and social standards in the global economy, edited by Luc Fransen and Brian Burgoon, explores whether public and private regulations of such standards develop in harmony or tension with one another.


Essays are longer analytical and research pieces by academics and practitioners looking to reach a global audience that can be accessed through the Global Policy website. Authors are encouraged to contribute original research or argument through their essays, and to include a set of policy recommendations. All essays are reviewed by an early career academic or practitioner before publication.

Global Policy Journal welcomes contributions from academics and practitioners, but retains the right to refuse any material that does not fit our editorial remit or publication standards which can be found here.
