4th GPPN Conference & Global Policy launch

London, 22 March 2010

The 4th GPPN Conference and launch of Global Policy will take place at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on Monday 22 March 2010.
The theme of the one day conference is “Global Challenges: Global Impact”.

Conference participants will explore challenging issues about:

·         The future of multilateralism
·         World economy and economic growth
·         Climate change: post-Copenhagen

As with the previous conferences in Beijing, Singapore and Paris, this GPPN Conference will attract prominent policy academics and practitioners to speak and engage in a dialogue with a diverse range of participants from around the world.

Previous conferences benefited immeasurably from the contributions of speakers such as Pascal Lamy, Director-General, World Trade Organization, Anne-Marie Slaughter, Dean, Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, Surin Pitsuwan, Secretary-General, ASEAN , Andrew Sheng, Chief Advisor of the China Banking Regulatory Commission and Wang Jisi, Dean, School of International Studies, Peking University.

This event will also serve as a platform to launch Global Policy, a new innovative and interdisciplinary journal bringing together world class academics and leading practitioners to analyse both public and private solutions to global problems and issues.

The conference will take place on the ground floor of the LSE’s New Academic Building. We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us in London.
