Dr Or Raviv, from Durham University, and Dr Pietro Maffettone, from Global Policy, interview Dr Adam White on Private Military Contractors. The interview was conducted at Durham University.
Dr Adam White joined the Department of Politics at York University as Lecturer in Public Policy in 2010. Before York, Adam worked and studied in the Department of Politics at the University of Sheffield, where he was an ESRC-funded PhD student (2005-2008) and post-doctoral researcher (2008-2010). He has also spent time as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Washington (Seattle) and has worked as a researcher for Gun Free South Africa (Cape Town) and Demos (London).
Dr Pietro Maffettone graduated from the University of Rome (La Sapienza) and then moved to the LSE, where he received his PhD from the Department of Government. His research interests centre on ethics and international affairs.
Dr Or Raviv is a member of the Global Policy Institute and teaches on the MSc programme in Global Politics. His research interests include a broad range of political economic issues and approaches such as financialisation and financial crisis, European integration and global economic governance.
