Julia Utsunomiya is a MSc in Global Policy student at Durham University and a Global Policy Journal intern. She holds a degree in International Relations at PUC SP (Brazil) with a joint exchange programme with the Universidad del Salvador (Argentina). Julia`s particular interest is to analyse global civil society influence toward a more democratic global governance.
Julia has worked for more than fifteen years for civil society organizations on developing countries in Latin America. She has worked as project manager in designing social initiatives on youth empowerment, environmental education, social innovation, and drug policy. Julia has also supported consultancy`s projects on creative economy; and on civil society impact assessment and knowledge production.
